The Tri-Cities Professional Firefighter Honor Guard
We provide services for both local, state and national events.
The Tri-Cities Professional Firefighter Honor Guard is comprised of members from IAFF Locals Richland 1052, Kennewick 1296, Pasco 1433, Hanford I-24, and Tri-County 4965.
Today, we supported our brothers & sisters with Benton County Fire District #4 and IAFF Local 1052, as we paid our respects to Lt. Aaron Meloy.
While we often travel throughout the region and try to be there for the families and coworkers of our fallen brothers and sisters, this one hit much closer to home, as we honored someone that we worked alongside. Rest well brother, and know that you are missed.
The Celebration of life for Lieutenant/Paramedic Aaron Meloy will be held on February 19th at 1PM located at the Richland Baptist Church 1632 George Washington Way, Richland WA 99354.
Aaron spent his entire fire service tenure with Benton County Fire District #4 (BCFD4) until his unexpected passing. He first started as a volunteer/volunteer resident. He attended the Regional Fire Academy and obtained his EMT certification from Columbia Basin College.
In June of 2016, Aaron accepted a career position with BCFD4 and attended Columbia Basin College to obtain his Paramedic certification. Aaron advanced to the rank of Lieutenant with BCFD4.
Those that knew Aaron are welcome to write a message or share photos with the family at [email protected]
Today we helped honor one of our own. Firefighter Covington served the citizens of Pasco for twenty five years, and carried his love of service through his retirement from PFD, and into multiple endeavors. We were honored to be a small part of remembering a man who never stepped away from the ideals that all firefighters strive for. Rest easy, brother.
