For those of you that donāt know, I had a baby two weeks ago! His name is Harland and we are absolutely in love!
This was a wild season- especially going through my 8th and 9th month of pregnancy in late summer! Now that weāve completed our last wedding of the year, I want to thank and for being kick-ass freelancers for us. Thank you Mum for picking up the extra work toward the end of the season, and thank you to my aunts and to Mumās partner for assisting with design and prep. Thanks to my good friends Katie and Danielle for lending helping hands, and thanks to those of you that lent out their space so we had more room to design. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to my husband Peter for helping out with nearly every wedding. We wouldnāt have survived this season without you and Iām sorry I got on all of those ladders when you told me not to! Youāre my hero!
We canāt wait to see professional photos from this explosively colorful wedding!
Thank you for bringing your A+ game while freelancing with us. Thank you and for working hard for us, and thank you to my husband Peter for all you do for me.
I guess I was channeling Barbie at my wedding a year or so before the movie came out! Love me some gingham, especially in pink!

Excited to go up to the Mallet Barn at center today for Beers in the Barn! Weāll be slinging all your favorites from 3-6pm, hope to see you there.
This Saturday September 10th! Bunch of bands, bunch of food, all the cider! get your tickets, you will not want to miss out!
It was a whirlwind week but it all came together, with perfect weather, and a million loving and helping hands.
Regarding floral design, I barely got to touch a flower- I was too busy delegating and answering countless questions! I planned, ordered blooms, and made bouquets- maybe picked at a few things, but thatās it! Thanks Mum and all of the women in my family- my flower girls- for making the table arrangements, aisle florals, and more. Shout out to my maids, matrons, and dear girl friends for all of the detail work/crafting/collecting greenery/floral dabbling/organizing/planning etc. Thank you Morgan T. for all of your assistance and doing all of that foraging, and then saving the day with that last forgotten floral headband! And last, but absolutely not least, thank you Lemon & Tulips for āØunderstanding the assignmentāØ and knocking it out if the f% #*ing park with the installs and wearables. I told you what I wanted, you know my style, and you absolutely brought it. The flowers would be nowhere near what I wanted them to be if it werenāt for you.
Smokey & Brines - owned by my husband Peter and his business partner Will, brought along some amazing friends to serve the most delicious BBQ. My lovely aunt and cousin run and generously provided the cart and cocktails for free. My boss at (Where Peter and I met while working together!) even threw down $ for some kegs!
Thank you to my long time bestie Katie Matzell for so beautifully officiating our wedding. Your words and your presence tugged at my heart strings, and everyone elseās. Itās crazy looking back to the days when we bonded while commiserating over our old miserable crushes and first loves. I canāt begin to tell you how much having you at the alter with us meant to me.
More thanks to come, but Iām out of room and Iām tearing up, so Iāll pause here.
