My sweet friend from season 1 of The Voice Nakia is having surgery. Please read below! Prayers for a speedy recovery and many blessings for you this holiday season and in 2023 my friendâ¤ď¸
BIG UPDATE: Iâm having jaw surgery today. They will be cutting both my upper and lower jaw to correct my severe underbite and (hopefully) help my sleep apnea. The recovery includes a blended diet for many weeks and lots of rest so I wonât be doing any shows or livestreams until Iâm feeling better. Iâm in great hands with Dr. Casmedes and his team, plus I have an amazing đ¤ to care for me back at home. If you wanna know how you can support me during this time I have just the thing. She made me a mother. She brings more joy to my life than I ever knew possible. She sings like an angel, prays like a warrior, loves deeply and can have more attitude than an adolescent. She's brave, strong, fearless and continues to inspire me to grow to be all she needs as she grows. I have spent my life doing all I can to make sure she is happy, healthy, safe and knows she is loved, I will continue to until the day I die. Being a mother has been very challenging, but never because of her. She makes me feel like every day is Motherâs Day. Drawing me pictures saying how much she loves me just because she wanted to, randomly saying "I love you" and "you are so beautiful mommy." She pushes me to face my fears, because she is worth it. She is the best gift God has ever given me. I pray God puts a hedge of protection around us so we may continue to weather the storms together hand in hand. I pray her happiness and well being will become everyone's priority, because she deserves nothing less. She is my world and I am hers. It was a good Mother's Day indeed

Sheâs just a child and has already suffered far too long with multiple treatments and tumors that keep coming. Please join me in fervent prayer for this beautiful, talented and brave little warrior as I pray for healing in her body - that she may enjoy a long life on this earth with her family and friends - cancer free.

Terrible! These missionaries and their children need prayer now - they have to be rescued. Please pray God intervenes and our country will get them out!
