We are so excited and so happy to announce that not only did we make it on the BBJ fastest growing woman-owned business list, but also we made it to NUMBER 4!
We are in our 5th year of business and this has been the most challenging journey I have undertaken, but also incredibly rewarding. We have the most amazing staff (12 of them and counting!), that really care and are passionate about our clients. They do an amazing job and it would have been impossible to get this far without them. I am so proud of all of our employees.

Of course, we owe everything to our clients for being our partner and putting their trust in us.

We are not even close to done yet! We have BIG plans and are super excited to continue to grow and improve.

Another jam packed learning experience at the CorveeTax Conference in Scottsdale. Now we’ll be working on implementing and improving more of our processes. Learning + ex*****on = scalable and predictable growth. 💪💪🔥

When you wake up to this ❤️after telling your kid that your business made a new milestone and you have 10 meetings booked for the day. Discussing your journey with your kids is magic and leaves an indelible impression. I used to leave her notes in her lunchbox every day.

We are so excited that our firm and the work we do was featured on Go Solo Magazine as an entrepreneur story and a woman-owned business. It’s been a whirlwind and we are just getting started.

Lauraine joined the team last year through a firm that we acquired. She is definitely the best asset from the acquisition! With over 4 years' experience in accounting, Lauraine is our resident Bill.com and accounting technology specialist. She handles over $300k of our client accounts (if you're one of our CFO clients, you know how important and impressive this metric is :)).

Not only does Lauraine do great work, but she keeps us laughing too. We've really enjoyed having Lauraine as part of the team.

Working on my annual operating plan while on vacation. Some would say “you need to relax” but I’ve been looking forward to getting a break to work on the business. My goal is to put new operations, processes and people in place so that we can skyrocket to our 2023 goals with ease (and normal working hours). Unexpected and expected challenges will continue to arise, but having a plan and forecast helps to know when and how to micro-correct your trajectory, be more agile, resilient, and responsive to changes, and stay accountable to clients, employees and your vision.

Just finished two books this last week while I was resting and reconvening. Both by the same author, Dan Sullivan, coauthored by Dr. Benjamin Hardy. I highly recommend reading both. Even though the topics are geared towards entrepreneurs, I recommend everyone read them, regardless if you run a business or not. The Gap and the Gain gives great insight into how to position your perspective to constantly be winning and happy. And Who Not How gives great insight on hiring to get to the next level of your achievement and goals.

The body remembers past trauma and even if you are happy today, trauma stored in the body manifests itself as physical illness and injury. Meditation improves the mind body connection and allows the mind to work properly to improve natural healing. Your body can and should heal itself. Nutrition, exercise, sleep, rest and meditation are key to optimal living.

Optimizing your health is a vital component to success in business and in life.

Only you stand in your own way. Easier said than done, I know. I’ve been there. But so have all of the other business owners that have made it. No excuses. Leave no stone unturned.

All of the walls and boundaries of protection are disappearing. Just showing up won’t cut it any more. The high speed of information is equalizing the value you bring forth. What value can you bring?

How many times have you felt like giving up in business or in sales? In fact, if you’re a business owner, it’s both business and sales. They are inseparable in most cases and for the first few years.

Sometimes it feels endless and like the break will never come. But it’s a numbers game. It’s just data. Emotionless. So keep track of what matters, make unemotional tweaks to better your chances, and be consistently tenacious.
