Here’s my face... in all it’s naked glory.
The past couple months I’ve been struggling with some pretty intense contact dermatitis on my face! My skin decided to develop an allergy to one of my skin care products but I didn’t know which one. I was left with a painful, dry, itchy and super red rash all over my face. This led to a very low self esteem and lots of Vaseline mixed with foundation.

I finally decided to ditch all skin care products and just use 2 items..... vitamin E oil and Rose oil. Why do I always forgot that SKIN LOVES OIL!?

Ladies.... oil is one of the best gifts you can give your face! Just make sure you’re using the right kind!

Coconut oil is a BIG no-no for your face. It’s a comedogenic which basically means it’s going to create a barrier on top of the skin, not letting moisture in and also clogging your pores. It’s great on the rest of the body, just skip it for your face.

Rose hips have so many benefits for delicate facial skin! It’s used especially for lightening dark spots but can brighten up your entire complexion! It has astringent properties so it will also help tighten up those pores! It’s light enough to pe*****te and actually moisturize, unlike coconut oil.

Vitamin E is a great skin care option! It’s a natural anti aging product that helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles! It has a ton of antioxidants which will help protect your skin from sun damage and also promote new cell growth (but that doesn’t mean you can skimp on the sunscreen!)

Overall, give oil a chance! Your face will thank you (mine did)!
