EAST LOVELAND AVENUE PROJECT UPDATE 🚧
The project has been beyond frustrating for our residents due to slow progress. Past efforts to open a signalized lane of traffic have failed due to the need to maintain contractor safety and assure that the lane is safe for drivers.

The city is in constant communication with the contractor. Work crews have been added on upcoming Saturdays (July 6 & 13) to speed up the project. The city is scheduling (barring any unforeseen circumstances) the installation of traffic signals at each end of the construction zone to be activated on Monday, July 15. This would reopen 1 lane of traffic and end the detour. This will continue throughout the remainder of the project, allowing access for residents through the construction zone.

The project has many parts — the bridge reconstruction, paving, sanitary sewer, sidewalks and storm water. By fixing everything as part of this project, it prevents the need for multiple closures/detours in the future.

Questions? Please call (513) 707-1454.
