Laura Thomas, TESCO Community Champion, visited today to deliver a cheque for £1000 as part of their Stronger Starts project. All of the blue tokens that were collected and deposited in the boxes to support Durrington Junior's bid to improve the outdoor spaces for our children. The project will involve making the new shelter area a sensory place full of plants, planters and colour. Laura very kindly also brought some membrane, artificial turf and plants! What a star! Thank you to her and to all of you who put blue tokens in the containers. 😊🌟
