As 2015 is to be GriffMUN’s second year, we aim to establish what will be a longstanding intervarsity tradition. So, watch this space!
Griffith University's Model United Nations Conference, aimed at educating participants in the primary function and procedure of the United Nations in an engaging, entertaining format. GriffMUN is a Model UN Conference, featuring a training day followed the primary conference, three days in length with a focus on fostering the development of negotiation skills, youth diplomacy and leadership. It is
designed with the intention of introducing tertiary students to the Model United Nations concept, to further strengthen and promote the existence of the MUN Community in Australia. Hosted by Griffith University, in partnership with the university’s primary United Nations Student Associations, GriffMUN 2015 will take place at Gold Coast campus. As demand for greater access to Model United Nations Conferences increases, it is hoped that tertiary institutions will take a greater role in the hosting and administration of this principle networking phenomenon in the long term. We would like to welcome our fellow MUN enthusiasts, sponsors and future delegates to the GriffMUN page. Our website will be up and running sometime in the next fortnight. In the meantime, feel free to post questions to this page – and our GriffMUN Secretariat page, and we will endeavour to answer all your questions and perhaps establish an F.A.Q.
