Did I buy a whole puzzle and a card game just to share this new collection with you? Maybe....

Has this comic series taken over my whole brain? No (maybe a little bit) it's definitely taken over my dyepots though!

This is Rooibos, a sweet, rich layered colourway of reddy oranges, ecru and gold, and also a very curious and fun Tea dragon. This isn't me saying you should check out the wonderfully cute q***r comics, but if you did I'm sure you'd love them as much as I do!

The Tea Dragon collection semi solids will be available across our sw and non sw bases. In our end of the month update!

I'm not a monogamous knitter by any means, I've always got a lot of projects on the go.

These are a few of the projects (in the works) I've made with the Creature Compendium in 2023 and 2022. There's a blanket hiding there too!

There are so many options available for yarn base and size of skein that even if you're not a blanket knitter, there is something for you!

*boucle is sadly not an option but I had some on hand and had a project in mind 😅.

I'm really excited to go take part in the action and get some treats for myself, whilst having lots of treats on offer for you!

So here is the thing, I did not get the best photos of the meteor shawl....

I managed to convince a friend on a lovely day trip to the beach in Ayr, that they might like to help with a photoshoot, but it was a bit too bright, a bit too windy and a bit too peopley.

It was a really lovely day to sit on the beach and look at the sea, not a photo day 😅.

So inspired by both and who do it infinitely better and aren't actually committed to doing it badly....

I decided to throw in some bad "photoshopping" (I use Affinity, because it's a great suite and much more affordable). So prepare to be sick of these ridiculous photos that make me laugh.

Happy Feature Friday!

I wanted to give a little love to Midsummer Night Dream. You've seen the dyeing process in a reel, but I realised I've never shared a proper photo of this dreamy colourway from the Shakespeare collection.....

I fell so hard for this colourway I had to use it for my version of .knits Ali Sweater, alongside Hermia for a soft low contrast colourwork/fairisle that speaks me of sun breaking through a wooded canopy and light dappling over flowers in a shaded grove. Very if I say so myself.

Oh and if you're coming to the open day on Sunday (14th) then you'll be able to choose from the collection on the original non superwash Bluefaced Leicester DK and Cormo Silk or Merino Silk 4ply both non superwash also!
