: Solid papers are all about timing. Please, do yourself a favor: DO NOT try to write an entire research paper in one sitting. -_-
Here's a more ideal option: space out your writing over several days. Take a day for finding and evaluating credible sources. Take notes on those sources the next day. Next, write the body content of your paper. Then, write your introduction and conclusion. Use your final days before your due date to make worthwhile revisions.
Your grade (and your sanity) will thank you. :)

: Plagiarism is a bad thing. Don't do it. Ever.
To avoid it, take notes on important information in the document you're reading, writing them in your own words and making note of where each point came from in that document.
When you do this, you don't have to try so hard to paraphrase later on or read through the source over and over again to make sense of it. Happy writing!
