Nepal ๐ณ๐ต- Momos or the nepalese cousins of dumplings and made their way to my kitchen and won't leave anytime soon! You can stuff your momos with pretty much every type of vegetable you enjoy and spice them up a bit with a chili if you like it.
Mauritius ๐ฒ๐บ - Gato pima are little chili cakes served as street food or around the table at family or friends gathering. There are packed with flavors and can accomode all taste! Serve them hot or cold, with a good fresh baguette or some cubes of cheddar cheese. And use the left over in your curries! ๐ถ๏ธ๐ถ๏ธ๐ถ๏ธ
Suriname ๐ธ๐ท - Bakabana is a delicious Surnamese snack that is influenced by Indonesian cuisine : battered and fried plantains served with a delicious and typical peanut sauce. You can never go wrong with peanuts and plantains! ๐ฅ๐

Little patties of paneer are cooked in sweet boiling water, then paired with a delicious and creamy milk, cooked with cardamom and saffron. It is so delicious that I wouldn't mind skipping dinner and going straight for dessert... And you know I love my meals!

China ๐จ๐ณ - Congee is an amazingly simple breakfast recipe that I was so excited to try because it reminds me of so many good travel memories! It is so versatile, you can pretty much add any type of vegetable you like, and it is also very gentle on the stomach, which makes it a great comfort food for days you feel like take care of yourself ๐. In this recipe, we added our favorite brocolis, carrots and shiitake mushrooms. And lots of ginger and peanuts for a great taste! ๐๐๐

Vietnam ๐ป๐ณ - Pho is a vietnamese national treasure, served for breakfast all over the country, and one of the most famous street food worldwide! I couldn't give it a try! This vegetarian version calls for a rich and fragrant miso broth, spiced up with cinnamon, ginger and cloves, some shiitake mushrooms for the texture and thick flat rice noodles. Then, the fun part is always to choose toppings to add on before eating! I like to add as many as I can: bean sprouts, jalapeรฑo, thai basil, lime and hoisin sauce! ๐

Equatorial Guinea ๐ฌ๐ถ - Akwadu is a very popular and simple dessert, made with banana and coconut. To deepen the coconut flavour, I chose to replace the sugar by coconut sugar and add some coconut chips at the end of the recipe. The result are little pieces of summer that melt in your mouth!

This year, I decided to indulge myself with lots of new recipes. And I am also always planning a next trip, so I thought it could be fun to try to cook one recipe for every country in the world.
