Mistletoe Mingle tickets are now available at: https://squareup.com/store/drakedrxugs. This winter event for CPHS is a fun opportunity to interact with classmates and faculty/staff in a social setting. The event will be held at the Science Center of Iowa on December 6th from 7-11pm. A ticket includes 2 drink tickets (wine, beer, and soda), food catered by Hy-vee, and continuous busing to and from campus. Tickets are on sale from now until the day of the event. Mistletoe Mingle is conveniently taking place the day before dead day, so what better way to let loose before finals?! Please see the attached flyer for ticket prices and further details. The IPA Advocacy team has spent the summer and fall months contributing to pharmacy friendly candidates through the Iowa Pharmacy PAC. Now we need your help in repacking the PAC!
Pharmacy students can join IPA’s Director of Public Affairs Casey Ficek on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at IPA Headquarters in Des Moines as he reviews Iowa’s political landscape following the midterm elections and previews pharmacy’s current advocacy initiatives prior to the 2019 legislative session.
Following the presentation, everyone will hit the phones and reach out to IPA members in an effort raise funds for the IPPAC. Don’t worry though, IPA will walk you through all the steps needed to make your pitch!
Don’t miss this great opportunity to hone your communication skills and help IPA remain a strong voice for pharmacy at the Iowa Capitol! Food and refreshments will be provided.
