Our Vision
iCry2Talk proposes a low-cost and non-invasive, intelligent interface between the infant and the parent that translates in real time the baby’s cry, displaying the result with a text, image, voice and sign language message. The hypothesis adopted by iCry2Talk is that the efficient combination and analysis of different sources of information through advanced signal processing techniques and artificial intelligence based technology can provide meaningful and reliable feedback to the parent related to the care of his baby.
We aim to bridge the communication gap between parents and their babies and assist in the provision of prompt and proper care of the babies’ needs. We support young and inexperienced parents and parents with disabilities with an objective tool for cry recognition and alleviate the stress of relying solely on their instincts and intuition. We create a community of parents, doctors and experts on the field to promote meaningful interaction and knowledge exchange while supporting our cry samples donation campaign.
