Packer Valley educates individuals on new ideas, techniques & quality performance plans for a safe, clean & healthy environment.
The Packer Valley Chapter started in March of 1970 as the “International” chapter because there was one active member from Canada. On September 23, 1991 the name was changed to Packer Valley. The Chapter received recognition for “producing the best chapter newsletter” in June of 1995. In the same year our chapter also received recognition for being an “Outstanding Chapter”. Prior to September 6th, you will have the opportunity to submit nominations for your staff and co-workers. They will be honored at the banquet with a certificate. You may chose to present gifts, trophies and other rewards during the evening.

Did anyone from our chapter win the lottery? There were two big winners in New Berlin! Actually, both tickets were sold within 5 miles of NASSCO!
Save the date! There are two big opportunities coming up in May.
#1 - May 16 is our next chapter meeting. It'll be held at NASSCO in New Berlin. We hope you can make it!
#2 - May 29-30 is the Regional Meeting. That will take place in Wisconsin Dells at the Kalahari Resort. Registration is still open and hotel rooms are available.

Today's meeting had fantastic education on proper cleaning and disinfecting techniques, as well as how to test accuracy of cleaning tasks. If you missed the meeting, reach out to request the slides.

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the 35th Awards Banquet. A big shout out to all our fabulous vendors and our Packer Valley friends!
Just a reminder that Packer Valley is hosting our awards banquet tomorrow night, Sept 18 at the Stadium View in Green Bay. Social hour at 5 pm and dinner at 6 pm.
Our vendors and chapter members have been very generous this year again and we have some fantastic door prizes to give away. Remember to bring a non-perishable food item to fill Paul’s Pantry shelves and receive a ticket towards these door prizes.

Our August meeting was hosted by Nassco and they did an outstanding job! We had great education on chemical safety and preventing slips and falls from experts at SCJohnson Professional. Nassco provided a tasty lunch and we had great idea exchange about preventing trips from matting, challenges with dilution control and SDS. These meetings are so valuable! Plus, it's nice to see some friendly faces. Looking forward to the next meeting on October 11th at Aspirus Longlade Hospital!

Good Day Everyone. I hope to see you at our Chapter meeting being held at San-A-Care, Inc. in Waukesha tomorrow, Thursday, June 21st. The educational topic is "Infection Control: Breaking the Chain of Infection" The Charity we are helping is the Elmbrook Humane Society, www.ebhs.org, click on the "How to Help" button for ideas on what to donate. Cash is also appreciated. Also, there will be an installation of new officers at this meeting. I look forward to seeing you there.

Put Pathogens in Their Place Winter is upon us, which also means cold and flu season is here. Join us for our last free webcast of 2017 on Thursday, December 7, at 1 p.m. CST, and ...
At our November meeting it was discussed and voted on to have the awards banquet every year, instead of every other, due to the fact that we no longer are doing the TWISTER in the Dells.
We are looking to keep the awards banquet in September and will keep everyone informed when we are able to book a room and the exact date.
From now until September..... think of ideas to nominate your staff, facility, peers, etc. for an award. This is always a fun filled evening!
