Who we are
When Diesel, our beloved Siberian Husky, needed immediate medical attention, we rushed him to the veterinary office. The treatment, it turned out, cost far more that could easily afford- but we handed over our entire savings to save Diesel’s life!
We contacted animal relief organizations across New York State for help, but each one rejected our plea. “We don’t assist out of our area,” we were told. Or, “Sorry, we’ve run out of funding.” We did all we could for Diesel – but his monumental veterinary bill ended up literally costing us the roof over our heads.
Our family has since recovered its financial footing, and we vowed we would do our best so such agonizing circumstances would never happen to anybody else. After Diesel crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we created a non-profit in his memory.
