My first day back to work in my 1-1 studio! 💪🏻😁

✨️After an incredible 6 months of fantastic work, I just had to shout out my client Helen for all her hard work! 😁🙌🏻

👉🏻In 6 months, she has lost an incredible 21.3 inches of bodyfat from starting to change her habits and build a healthier more sustainable lifestyle! 🥰

💥Helen came to me after doing years and years of slimming world and was in such a repetitive cycle where she would lose weight and then gain it all back again. It would get worse each time which was leading her to feel unmotivated, frustrated and felt like she was failing no matter what she tried. 🥺

✨️Over 156 pounds down, the results speak for themselves!!! 🙌🏻

💥Members are coming up to Kieran to congratulate him on his results! I can see just how much these compliments mean to Kieran especially when he has worked so hard to get where he is today! 😁👏🏻

🔥We worked out that Kieran has lost to date around 71kg which works out just over 156 pounds!! For those of you that work in stone it is around 11 stone!! This hasn't been a quick fix he has been with me under 2 years! 😁

Even though we had a long road ahead of us at the beginning, he has learnt so much and has truly gained so much from investing in himself and his health! 👏🏻

Kieran is happier in himself, has gained more confidence within the gym and has completely transformed his health & mindset!!! 💪🏻😊

I am just so proud of all that Kieran has achieved so far and now he is well on his way to getting even stronger and building more muscle mass as we have a solid base we can build on! 💪🏻😁

💥Nutrition talk! 👇🏻

As I said I wanted to come on this week and chat about how I approach nutrition! 👇🏻

👉🏻Having a balanced and healthy lifestyle should be enjoyable! This means incorporating foods you enjoy in a way that doesn't mean you have to deprive or restrict yourself! 😁

👉🏻Counting calories in my opinion is not always the healthiest option.. It does really depend on the clients needs or requirements! You have to do what is best for you 😊

👉🏻My approach with nutrition is very flexible so I can enjoy making healthy, fresh food and most of all enjoy what I'm eating! 🙌🏻

✨️You will have a way easier time sustaining a healthy lifestyle when it's one that keeps you on track with your goals and includes the food you love! 😍

✨️I give clients access to recipe meal guides which enables them to try new things! Also to give them the reassurance that eating these meals will assist them in the results & progress they are striving for! 😍👏🏻

With my nutrition I always ensure I am prioritising these four things:
💥Carbs
💥Protein
💥Fats
💥Veggies

✨️Its that time!! Have you been going to the gym to tone your body? 👇🏻

💚Here are my top tips:
💥Always prioritise weight training
💥Don't stay on the treadmill in the hope this will help you drop thw weight to build a defined and toned shape
💥Make sure you are looking at your nutritional habits/current lifestyle
💥Try adding some cardio at the end of your weight training sessions and start with a minimal amount not an hour
💥Get moving more try adding some daily movement to your day or join a weight training keep fit class to build your confidence
💥Increase your protein intake
💥Drink more water

You would be surprised how many people join a gym and end up doing hours of endless cardio in the hope it is going to give them the toned and defined shape most ladies are looking for... then they are disappointed as they haven't seen a difference! 🥺👇🏻

✨️Ladies remember using the weights does not make you bulky!
✨️If you do endless cardio you will eat into your muscle tissue this actually will make you look less toned and defined! You want to preserve muscle tissue as much as you can which is why weight training is the key!
✨️Being strong doesn't make you bulky, it is what creates that toned and defined shape!
✨️Cardio doesn't always mean fat loss, you can also lose a huge amount of body fat doing weight training!

👉🏻Hannah came to me wanting to do online coaching and with her being a busy mum it was clear her life was pretty hectic! She also had what she described as an addiction to chocolate.. due to this she wasn't sure she would even see a difference!

✨️Once we started I devised a program for her that she could do at home! This meant if she only had ten mins she could just do it at her own convenience 😁

✨️I also helped Hannah to manage and moderate her chocolate intake but we never restricted, deprived or took anything away that would lead to cravings and unnecessary binges!

💥New Years Day, we are officially in 2023! What better way to kick it off then with another transformation! 😁

👉🏻One thing you shouldn't be doing New year's day is thinking about all the ridiculous pressure of setting New Year resolutions or thinking about quick fixes and food guilt!

✨️Think about reflecting on the year just gone and think about the little steps you can take to get to one goal you have been thinking of for this year! 😁🙌🏻

💓Start small, start gradual and make that goal achievable and realistic! Most people fail with resolutions because it's unrealistic and very unattainable!

💚It has taken me years to self accept, get healthy and appreciate everything about my body! There is nothing wrong with wanting to change, get healthy, fitter and stronger so when thinking about your goals don't put yourself or your body down! Just start and keep going! 😍
