Meet Us Monday!
Hi my name is Ashley Ngo! I developed my passion for nursing from taking care of my grandparents growing up and seeing how the nurses took well care of them. My passion grew from doing extracurriculars in high school and my current job as an MA at sutter. I love the idea of making a change in someone’s life, it’s the most fulfilling thing ever. I love to dance and travel. I love anything to do with the arts. My biggest goal is to work as a NICU NURSE.
General meeting tonight!
Don’t forget to sign up to take the self defense workshop. It’s 2 points towards your cord.
Not a CNSA sponsored event but highly recommended!
Thank you for the attendees! was awesome and has so many helpful resources. We are extremely grateful for her time.
We have another amazing speaker meeting with an opportunity to win a badge reel with accessories! Here’s a little about Amanda with
My name is Amanda and I started my Nursing Journey in 2016 while working full-time as a medical receptionist while raising my 3 year old daughter.
I fell in love with the medical field but it was not an easy journey.
2015: hospitalized for depression, over 300 lbs, broke with no job
2016: lost two babies, but got a job as a medical receptionist
2017: rejected from my dream nursing program, but still got my CNA certification
2018: dad got diagnosed with cancer
Now: Graduated with BSN-RN while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, working my dream job in pediatrics, have almost 500,000 followers on social media and help Nursing Students all over the world pass their exams and the NCLEX! ! ❤️
My mission is to be your light during a dark time. I know Nursing School can be hard. It can be frustrating. You can feel hopeless, lost, exhausted, anxious, burnt out, and not smart enough...but do not give up. There was a reason WHY you started. Hold on to that reason. There is a patient out there that needs a nurse like YOU one day! It will all be worth it if you hold on just one...more...day.

Are you creating opportunities for yourself? CNSA emphasizes professional networking.
Did you know was the president of the student nurses association - Ohio campus and reached out to with to do a speaker meeting. She agreed and the rest is history. Did she reach out expecting to get a job later? No. But she created opportunities for herself later by being bold and not afraid to hear No.
Create your own network. Don’t rely on clinical. If you take a BLS, ACLS, or PALs class introduce yourself to the other students. You never know if a manager is sitting next to you for their recertification. Add people on , thank them for their time. Tell them you would love the opportunity to interview with them once graduated.
Life happens but you have the power to create the opportunities ahead.
