Kinansela na ng Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL) ang trademark registration ng Television and Production Exponents, Inc. o TAPE Inc. sa pangalang "Eat bulaga" at "EB."

Ayon sa IPOPHIL, hindi napatunayan ng TAPE kung paano nila nabuo ang EAT BULAGA mark. Samantala, nakapaglabas ng testimonya at eksplanasyon ang mga petitioner na sina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, at Joey de Leon kung paano nila nabuo ang EAT BULAGA kaya sa kanila pumabor ang desisyon.

"The Petitioners proved that it is the originator and owner of the contested EAT BULAGA mark. Petitioners’ explanation or story on How initially the idea of the EAT BULAGA mark came about, did seem believable and credible," ayon sa desisyon ng IPOPHIL.

Tila naantig ang karamihan sa kwentong ibinahagi ng netizen na si RJ, kung saan tampok ang “rags to riches” story ng kanyang rescued furbaby na si Suchi.

Kwento ni RJ, noong una nilang natagpuan si Suchi ay marami itong pinagdaraanang kundisyon.

Nung nagstart na na dalin namen sya sa vet, dun namen nalaman story nya. Adult na sya. Her nails are very long na curvy, sign daw na naka cage sya. Possibly a breeder dog. Her vitals are all irregular. Happy 13th Anniversary Tambayan 27 Gaming Arena

Bumili ako ng isang set ng baso sa isang maliit na mall. Nagpa-assist ako sa isang sales lady na kunin sa estante ang napili ko. Aksidente niyang nabasag ang isang baso na nagkakahalagang P85.00. Inayos niya ang nabasag at nagpatuloy sa pag-assist sa akin. Ramdam kong napapaisip siya. Kaya sabi ko sa kanya, babayaran ko na lang ang nabasag. Sagot niya, “Okay lang po ba?”

“Okay lang. Ibabawas pa iyan sa araw mo. Hindi mo naman sinasadya.” sambit ko sa kanya.

Lumapit ulit siya sa akin at iniabot ang piraso ng basong nabasag.

“Salamat po talaga Ma’am. X10 po kasi ang charge nyan sa amin.” dagdag niya.

Nagulat ako sa X10 na charge. Dalawang araw niyang pagtatrabahuhan ang basong nagkakahalaga ng P85.00.

Gaano kalupit ang mga malalaking kapitalista sa mga manggagawa na sa kakarampot na sahod ay pagsasamantalahan pa rin sila sa maliit at minsanang pagkakamali?

Isang beses lang tayo mabubuhay sa mundo. Maging mabuti naman sana tayo sa lahat ng uri ng tao.
