FAREWELL… FOR NOW // The time has come, friends.

Tomorrow evening (7/31) at 11:59PM Central, Efficacy Clothing Co. will officially close.

Seven years ago we set out to create a brand built by the people who wear it, not the products they wear.

We set out to create a brand with a new design sensibility, one that blended some of our favorite things in this life: motorcycles, music, and whiskey.

And yeah, we even laced some designs with our deeply rooted faith in the One who created all things.

AND BECAUSE OF YOU, WE DID JUST THAT.

Please hear me when I say it one more time: thank you. It has been the dream of a lifetime doing what we've been doing these last seven years.

I'm only looking back to admire how far we've come.

And while we don't know what the future holds, we do know Who holds the future.

SO WITH THAT, FAREWELL FRIENDS.

For now at least.

I mean... we do worship a guy who walked out of the grave 3 days later.

This brand has always been more about people than products, and I can't thank you enough for all you've allowed us to do these last 7 years.

After 7 years, we're closing Efficacy Clothing Co. indefinitely.

While there's a lot I could say, I'll keep it brief. Our business took a huge hit in 2020 and simply hasn't recovered.

These last 7 years have been the most fun I've ever had in business. We rode motorcycles, listened to great music, and drank terrific whiskey. But most importantly, we've met amazing people because of this brand.

And whether you were with us from day one or brand new to the brand this week, I wanted to say thank you for being part of the family.

SO WHAT NOW?

We're going to spend the next few weeks finding good homes for our remaining goods, and will be officially closing sometime in August.

On the nose, pronounced toasted oak with—of course—sweet blueberry notes. The wood and berry combination gives a vibrant sort of organic reality to the aroma, one that’s both fun and enticing. I was so excited to take my first sip I almost forgot to draw in a second long sniff, as I’m accustomed to doing. As I breathed it in again, spiced rye comes out from behind alongside a comforting herbal tea.

Sunday sips. What’s in your glass?

I’m still enjoying this four-grain, District Made straight bourbon from . New oak with a hint of almond nuttiness leap to the front. There’s more sweetness on the palate than the nose, with corn making its presence known alongside a subtle yet buttery caramel.

This is a terrific young expression that makes for an easy and enjoyable not-so-sweet sipper of a bourbon.

And while many say it’s the beginning of gin season (I love a good gin, mind you), we all know it’s always whiskey season.
