Founded in 1978, Louyaa's primary mission is to provide children and teenagers with the opportunity to participate in organized sports while promoting character development, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. With an emphasis on fun, fundamentals and sportsmanship, the Linganore Oakdale Urbana Youth Athletic Association offers your children a wide variety of both intramural and competitive level sports programs in southeastern Frederick County, Maryland.

We are excited to start building out the next Tribe Select Team. With the HUGE success with our 2031(2024 Lax Splash 11Uc Champs) and 2033 teams (2024 Lax Splash 9Ua/b Champs, 2024 Summer Getaway 2033 2nd Place), we are ready to grow! We will be doing an open house July 18, July 27 and Aug 3. July 18 will be from 6-7/730, July 27 and Aug 3 will be from 8am-9/10am, all at Louyaa Park. ALL Tribe Area boys are welcome to come try and see what the next level is about. We are looking to be running 1-2 tournaments in the fall (Waiting on football schedule) to make selection of Tournaments. We are also looking at doing an indoor league to keep sticks in hands during the winter and possible HOCO league. We will conclude the season with 3 summer tournaments. Our goal is to continue the growth of lacrosse in LOUYAA’s footprint, while keeping the kids together. We have a big area with a wide range of skills. We hope that by building these groups now, our boys will benefit when playing together matters, in High School! While we are still running like a club, we know and we encourage the playing of other sports. But when they aren’t playing those, we want ALL to keep that stick in their hands.
