We will still have Weights (3:30-4:30) and practice (4:30-6:30) today.

7th/8th grade will still have practice from 6:30-7:30 tonight as well.

Important reminder...if it is above 40 degrees, we will almost always go outside. Be prepared!

We will be in the weight room Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after school until 4:30 again starting this week.

Middle school players are welcome to attend these weight room sessions!

GREAT turnout for the call out meeting today! A LOT of new faces eager to get going. We are looking forward to a lot of work, but also a lot of fun with this group!

Our second summer game for tonight at Seymour is CANCELLED. We will practice 6-7:30!

Great showing tonight from the 2024 Team!

Seniors Mackenzie Matern and Elizabeth Evans led the way collecting multiple hits, stolen bases and runs throughout the game.

Lone Junior Claire Hack added a couple hits while playing 1st/3rd base.

Sophomores Riley Byford, Emma Clapp, Marlee Elston, Graci Ross, Kate Treadway, and Allie Zamora ALL added plenty of offense and defense to get it done in various positions.

Freshmen Maycie Ward, A***n Day, Audrey McDonald, Paige Hack, Riley McCammon, and Lilly Wells contributed at every position defensively and added multiple hits throughout the game.

Shout-out to sophomore Jilliann Brauer showing up to support her team and help with the scoreboard while she is still recovering from injury.

It was a great night for Jennings County Softball!

6pm tomorrow is our first summer game at HOME against Seymour. Players will need to be there by 5:15.

Last night of the JCHS Lady Panthers Softball Clinic! Our girls were full of energy and ready to play!

We worked on position conditioning and of course, had to have competition involved when we hit.

Our second picture is of the clinic girls who haven’t missed a night! Their dedication to the program lets us know they SHOW UP for their teams. Great work!

Clinic night #4 last night!!

Sydney and Bennett were our highlight athletes (the picture didn’t save of the two of them 👎🏽)!!

We worked on reviewing fielding fundamentals, aggressive base running and hitting on the field with girls in position!

Next week is the LAST week for the clinic, we will have some fun things going on so stay tuned for next Wednesday!

REMINDER: there is NO CLINIC tonight.

We will pick up next Wednesday from 6-7:30pm.

Continued work on solid fundamentals, from fielding and transitioning to a smooth throw, throwing to a target, and several new hitting drills to fine tune their skills!

Clinic Night #2 of 5!

These girls came to work and get LOTS of reps. Defensive agility, ladders, forehand/ backhand work, fundamental tee work, hitting form and front toss!

We love building up this program. We definitely have future Lady Panthers Softball players in this group!

Anything BUT a glove and bat to end our practice today! Creativity lights a fire!!

Due to probable weather on Saturday, our Home game against Silver Creek has been moved to TOMORROW at 5:30pm!

It was a great day at Pendleton Heights for the Horseshoe Classic!

The Lady Panthers defeated #8 Pendleton Heights 1-0 on their way to finishing 4th among some of Indiana's top ranked teams.

We are still learning about our team but we got better today!

It’s a good day to get some wins.

A lot to be proud of tonight! Two of our seniors (Ashley Meade and Abby McDonald) were inducted into the National Honors Society!

We also won 10-4 and hit THREE home runs (Alexis Carson, Riley Byford, Marlee Elston). These home runs were the first of Riley and Marlee's high school careers.

Perfect weather calls for the perfect day for DAY ONE.
