Topic for this week- homemade Laundry powder.
I keep seeing a lot of posts for laundry soap. Back last year I did my own poll and everywhere I went one day I asked liquid or powder. I was shocked at how many said powder! So I thought I would try my hand at some, and I love it!!! I found the recipe on another sight which I have included below.
Here is the exact recipe I use. 😊
1 1/2 cups Baking soda washing powder
1/2 cup Epson salt
1 1/2 cups Baking soda
1/4 cup Sea salt
Essential oil (this is optional but there are some used to kill bacteria)
Fragrance booster is optional- add these when you wash not with the powder as the baking soda may breakdown the beads and cause fading onto your clothes.
I use 1 Tbs/ reg load and 2 for large/ heavy load.
Just FYI- I have around the same size container as in the video and I have to quadruple (x4) the recipe to fill it.
