I’ve been crazy busy here getting the house finished but today I took a break and got to teach a sweet girl how to sew! Her first time using a sewing machine and she did great!

HOW IT WORKS:

Ordering from Saffron Threads is a process. Custom items mean choosing fabric, sometimes taking measurements and interaction with me, the maker.

To order you simply message me. I will ask you questions about favorite colors/characters/ prints. Asking me to send a picture of available fabrics is a bit difficult, as I generally have over 300 yards of fabric at any time.

My goal is to find the perfect fabric for your order. I can send you a link to my favorite fabric shops online, but prices do reflect the costs of fabric, especially when I create seamless svg files to have your favorite printed on fabric.

I request the cost of fabric be paid upfront in a NON REFUNDABLE fabric deposit.

There will be numerous messages about height/measurements etc.

I use quality fabrics from trusted suppliers. Everything is CPSC compliant. Clothing is made to exact sizing.

Yes, it takes time, yes it may cost a little more, but having a clothing item made exactly for you, at a reasonable price, where the fabric wears out before the seams, is worth it! We have been taught that custom made items are luxury, but in reality, I make them affordable. If you want the perfect pair of comfy joggers or one of a kind items for your family, I can help. Do you do Historical Reenacting?
I use patterns made for it! This men’s muslin shirt is 1830’s to 1880s. There are ascot and ruffle options as well. If you need it hand stitched for authenticity, I can do that (it does cost more! That’s a lot of hours), I can do it! This one is headed to Florida on Monday morning!

Make up remover face cloths. I made 87 cloths today! 3/$15. They are 8”x9” , softer than commercial options, and remove make up with tap water! Save the cleanser for your skin! PM me to claim yours 😬
