Measuring 7.5 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall but still being very light in your hands with delicate thin walls. This bowl exemplifies the past 6 months of practice and patience to learn a new skill. It has been what I wanted to achieve from the start, beautiful medium sized bowls that are light in your hands and are made to be held while eating. I love eating stir fry and rice, noodles or soup in a bowl like this. I believe to make what I would enjoy and hopefully other people would too.
This bowl I'm going to keep for myself because I've fallen in love with it, but it has a companion with the same glaze and 4 others with different colors that just went into the kiln today that will be up for sale soon.
Thanks so much for looking and have a super day! I love ya to death!

I finally got my website finished! (more or less) Check it out and let me know what you think! I'm getting ready to submit some images to a national publication and trying to decide what paintings to show. Please, if you have the time, check out my website and let me know what 2-4 paintings you like best. Only pick from the first two categories, Abstract Soundscapes or Everchanging Past, because these are the only paintings I still have and are currently the two series I am working on the most lately. Thanks so much for looking and I love ya to death!

All things in our universe are constantly in motion, vibrating. Even objects that appear to be stationary are in fact vibrating, oscillating, resonating, at various frequencies. Resonance is a type of motion, characterized by oscillation between two states. My paintings use oscillations between subtle shades of color moving into other vibrations of a spectrum of color to create a simulated auditory and sensory experience to change one's perceptions. In short, I am creating paintings that I believe can be heard and felt, bridging the gaps between sight, sound and touch to create a subtle shift in the viewer's emotional state. Light produces high frequency sound when hitting specific forms of matter and color and I am experimenting with concepts of creating unheard sounds that affect the viewer's emotional state.
