Hey there, friends! I had such a busy day yesterday at the Centennial High School 25th Annual Holiday Craft Show, that I didn't even have a chance to post about it! Wowie- what a great day filled with 200 amazing vendors, door prizes, food, and endless holiday cheer! We have one more day today from 12-4, so if you're in Franklin, you definitely want to stop by! Joe and I have combined our booths again to make one BIG Turning Round / Bobbn Apron booth, so we have all of your gift-giving needs covered! We're in the gym, so be sure to find us and say hi!

The weekend of weekends is THIS weekend! The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce's 46th Annual Webb Art & Craft Show is this Saturday, October 21st 9-5 and Sunday, October 22nd 9-4.

Nothing says summer like watermelon 🍉 and picnics, even if you have a few "uninvited guests" 🐜🐜🐜...lol. I'll have this cute new Utility style apron with me today at the Town of Chapel Hill 4th of July Celebration beginning at 3:00, so come by and check it out in person before it gets carried away! 💗

25 cups of beautiful peaches turned into Peach Preserves last night, along with baking 14 mini-loaves of Sourdough Bread for today's fun event right here in Chapel Hill! I EVEN managed to work on some new aprons 😉 This is gonna be an awesome event for the whole family with Music, Food, Shopping, and of course, FIREWORKS! You definitely don't want to miss this! A fun day was had by all who came out to the RC Cola - Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle yesterday! Thank you to everyone who came out and shopped our big Bobbn / Turning Round booth with Joe and me, we couldn't be more appreciative of all the love and support for our favorite "out of control hobbies" as Joe likes to put it...lol. Hey Y'all! I've been a little quiet lately, but that's only because I've been hard at work trying out new things to bring to my Bobbn Shop! Introducing my fresh baked Sourdough bread, and small batch Strawberry and Peach Preserves, as well as Strawberry- Blueberry Compote! And just like my apron inventory, you never know what you might find in stock- I will try to bring seasonal favorites along with me to my events, but since all of the fruit I've used is locally grown, it may vary from week to week. Had such a great day yesterday at the 82nd Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival! We were so busy, I didn't really get a chance to take pictures of everything, but I think our booth set up was the best ever for Joe and me! AND I had the "roll out" of my Sourdough Bread! The first of my new aprons for the upcoming 82nd Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival! 🍓 Whew- that's a mouthful! Lol! My friend Joe and I had an AMAZING day yesterday at the Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival, selling our handmade goods and meeting so many wonderful people- I already can't wait for next year! Our next big event will be the 82nd Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival next month, just in time for Mother's Day! If you're here in Middle Tennessee, I'm thinking it will be SO worth the drive to Portland not only to see all things STRAWBERRY, but also to find some really fun and unique gifts for that special mom (or wife or grandma or auntie...lol) in your life- you know, like a really cool APRON or HUMMINGBIRD HOUSE! I'll call this one "Reflections of Sewing at Sunrise". Notice the reflection of my sewing table in the window...lol. Nah, nothing fancy like that, but I do love how I can see the sunrise from my sewing room window- it makes early morning sewing worth getting up for. 🌅💗

This adult full size apron is so DOGGONE cute, I can't stand it! Lol- the little one in the yellow stripes reminds me of my girl Buttercup 🌼 And SPEAKING of BUTTERCUP- this fun little doggie print apron will be with me a week from tomorrow at the Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival! I absolutely LOVE vintage Hostess aprons! You know the ones- those mid-century beauties that were standard attire for most housewives of the day. They came in fun colors and patterns, and even in fancy fabrics like lace or sheer fabrics that let your fancy dress or skirt show through when you were entertaining. I grew up playing dress up with my mother's cast-offs, and always felt so pretty in them. It's no wonder that Hostess aprons are not only my favorite to WEAR, but also my favorite to MAKE! I like to use sturdy 100% cotton for my Vintage-Inspired aprons that will stand up to washing over and over again, but the fabrics are just as cute as they were back in the old days ❤️. This sweet Rosey one will be with me NEXT WEEK at the Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival. Come on by and check it out in person, its gonna be such a fun event! 🌼🌼🌼

You know when you take a picture of something absolutely beautiful and you look at the picture and think, "Meh..." This is one of those times...lol. The colors in this fabric are so pretty in person, it's definitely a must see- I think it's my favorite apron I've made this season! The line up of exhibitors for the 2022 Show is one that will please the pickiest shopper. The juried Webb Art & Craft Show features handmade arts and crafts such as pottery, metal works, wood working, textiles, jewelry, old fashioned soaps and lotions just to name a few. Creativity flows from these exhibitors like honey from a beehive.
