Finding My Happy Pace
Christian. Wife. Mom of 5. Respiratory Therapist. Aspiring Entrepreneur.
We need to keep our clothes on but don't let anyone tell you how to worship God.
And let's stop judging people for the way they worship God. We should be celebrating with them!
The face you make when you realize you recorded a 35 minute podcast for there to be no audio… 🤦🏼♀️
Religion can often look like checking boxes and following rules. But relationships are personal and each one is different.
Just because someone's relationship with God doesn't look like your relationship doesn't mean that they don't have a relationship with God.
We, as Christians, should be joyful anytime we see someone honoring God and worshiping Him with all that they are.
Let God do His thing. He's got this. I promise.
“It would be cool to be a shark.” -Mila (age 12)
Happiness is temporary. Joy is found in God.
Jesus reminds us of the Ten Commandments and then hold us to a higher standard. It's not a controlling thing. It's a freedom thing. Being able to let stuff go really changes the game!
“You don’t need a parachute to skydive. You just need a parachute to skydive twice.” -Eli (age 12)
Our God is an on-time-God and He wants more for us than we could even imagine! Trust Him and His timing.
We are called to love God & love our neighbors. The more we love our neighbors, the harder it is to be envious.
This.
This is the perfect representation of social media. From a distance everyone’s lives look beautiful. When you get up close and you start to see all the damage and junk. We all have it.
Don’t be sucked into comparing yourself to someone else. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Don’t make it easy for him.
Our relationships, including those in the church, can drive people closer to God. They can also drive them further away.
Church hurt is real but it’s because of sin and not because of God. It’s our job as church members to be aware of our actions and hold ourselves accountable. It’s also our job to protect others when needed.
TGIF ✌🏻 How do you define success?
I’m just an ordinary woman that serves an extraordinary God!
This right here. 🤣 Verses 30-31 in Matthew 9.
Jesus told them to keep their mouths shut. They didn’t. I would be afraid he would reverse my miracle.
But I’ve experienced miracles!!! How do you not talk about them?!
If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. 🗻
Forgiveness can be hard the benefits are incredible. I challenge you to take everything God and be intentional about forgiveness and let stuff go.
When I sat down to record the intro and outro to my YouTube video (it comes out Wednesday) I was in the middle of an argument. Funny how that works. When I watched those segments back they looked fake and I had to re-record them. I struggle with letting stuff go sometimes but that only hurts me.
Forgiveness is hard but necessary. God does it so we should too.
Vulnerable post but a necessary one.
God has me in a season of conviction. It seems like He’s calling me out on everything in my life. From money all the way to the food that I eat and how I move my body.
This week kicks off a change that’s been needing to happen for a while. Pray for me!
My mom heart is so happy ❤️
Do you take your Bible on road trips or do you use an app on your phone?
We cannot support everything that the world does because the world is full of sin. If we truly love our neighbor we will fight for their relationship with God. Loving them is wanting them to spend eternity with Jesus.
Loving your neighbor doesn’t always look the way we think it should. Sometimes it means calling people out on their sin. This should always be done in love and never in judgement. Forming quality relationships creates space for trust and love so real conversations can happen.
This is about how teaching kids church went with 15 preschool age kids.
It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the responsibilities that we have. They’re valid responsibilities.
And it’s super easy to fall down the rabbit hole of social media or Netflix. You have good intentions but when you come up for air you’ve lost 2 hours of your life.
Being intentional and making decisions that will put God first changes everything. Plan out your time with Him & pray throughout your day and you’ll see changes start to happen!
We live in a hustle culture where a packed calendar is often seen as a badge of honor. It’s so easy to get distracted by the necessities of life. But making time for God is the most important thing you can do.
I haven’t colored in my Bible in a long time. It’s so calming and brings my focus back to God when my mind is crazy.
Put on some worship, grab some colored pencils, and spend time with God! You won’t regret it!
