Hey Parents and Guardians of 3rd graders! The 3rd grade reading assessment will be administered April 8-19. Check out this flyer for details and tips to help get your child ready. Visit mdek12.org/Literacy for more info.

The students will not have school Monday, February 19th for Presidents Day. School will resume normal schedule Tuesday, February 20th.

Smith County School District will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, and Tuesday, January 16, 2024, due to extreme winter weather. All updates will be posted via the SCSD website, Facebook, school status, and news outlets.
