The very brightly coloured Malabar Trogon is found in the Peninsular India. They are found amidst dense vegetation with not so loud calls. Usually stay very still at the sight of humans due to which we may miss seeing them. They are sexually dimorphic.

Our online painting competition, Wonders Of Wildlife concluded last week with a total 135 participants in 6 categories, with the theme of Indian Biodiversity.

Day 3 of Winter Camp 2019 was all about Spiders. Miss Shraddha Kumari working as a zoology lecturer educated our participants with her immense knowledge on spiders. Understanding spiders n some easy ways of identifying them, followed by origami and painting.

Day 2 of the Winter Camp 2019 began with some introduction to plants, observing the different types of leaves and their properties by Miss Sumana and then Dr Vinay, very interestingly taught them on tree measurements, biomass n oxygen produced by plants. Kids practically measured a few trees n day ended with a group photo.
