Labour panics as remain voters switch to Liberal Democrats

Notwithstanding people's distrust in news reporting these days which varies vastly based on the forum/channel/paper...
This news piece makes more sense now, after our Brexit talk. It will not be as much about Brexit deal, but rather the affiliations that will be built and swayed as elections draw closer. From a position of careless abandon on previous occasions, the Brits are being encouraged to vote for the EU elections, while Jeremy Corbyn dilly-dallying is definitely revealing as the Liberal Democrats gain ground per the latest exit poll.
Labour panics as remain voters switch to Liberal Democrats Polls makes Vince Cable’s party the favourite for remainers and puts it in first place in London

Commemorating the Armenian Genocide, 104 years on, join us for a discussion on how Armenia has emerged and established itself within the region and the world over, through its engaging foreign policy initiatives.
Date: 3rd of May
Time: 4 pm - 6 pm
Venue: AULA B. ISS, The Hague.
On Friday, 3rd of May, 2019, the International Committee of ISS, The Hague, is organizing a Talk, commemorating the Armenian Genocide of 1915, in AULA B, from 4pm to 6 pm. The keynote speaker is the current Ambassador of the Armenian Embassy in The Netherlands, with more than a decade of experience as a lecturer of International Relations and related issues.
"Sometimes called the first genocide of the twentieth century, the Armenian genocide refers to the physical annihilation of Armenian Christian people living in the Ottoman Empire from spring 1915 through autumn 1916. There were approximately 1.5 million Armenians living in the multi-ethnic Ottoman Empire in 1915. At least 664,000 and possibly as many as 1.2 million died during the genocide, either in massacres and individual killings, or from systematic ill treatment, exposure, and starvation.
The origin of the term genocide and its codification in international law has its roots in the mass murder of Armenians in 1915–16. Lawyer Raphael Lemkin, the coiner of the word and later its champion at the United Nations, repeatedly stated that early exposure to newspaper stories about Ottoman crimes against Armenians was key to his beliefs about the need for legal protection of groups (a core element in the UN Genocide Convention of 1948)."

Hello everyone. Putting a midnight post here. We are going to be conducting some interesting events very soon. Stay tuned!!
The World is ours. It's Problems are ours. Let's solve them together. Let's talk.
The war in Afghanistan is enduring a history which has catapulted its population, every step of the way deeper into uncertainty, in what seems to be a never-ending struggle between actors and players from the region and the globe, alike. Much has been said, written, experienced and speculated, and our collective memory is rebooted to incorporate a new version of the old war, which started with the Soviet invasion in 1979. The war requires an in-depth study into the various tributaries and off-shoots of alliances, differences, resistances that have emerged with names and events. Be it the issue of Taliban, the Afghanistan government, United States, Pakistan and thousands of regional and ethnic groups, the nation of the Hindukush ranges, needs to emerge from the rubble and carve its identity, anew, afresh. Not enough can be written, and not enough should be written.
The International Committee of ISS, is organizing a talk on 14th February, 2019 at 4pm in Aula B, on the ongoing peace process and peace talks on Afghanistan. We will be joined by the Ambassador of the Afghanistan Embassy in the Hague.
More details of the event will be shared soon.
Stay TUNED!!

Today (October 27) Taiwan is holding their 16th LGBT pride parade in her capital, Taipei, one of Asia's most LGBTI-friendly cities. The parade was first held in 2003, and later became the largest gay pride event in East Asia.
2018 Taiwan LGBT pride parade is themed "Tell Your Story, Vote for Equality" - reminding people to vote for gay rights on the coming referendums. On November 24, Taiwan will be holding 🔟 simultaneous referendums alongside the municipal elections. Five of them are gender-related: two on equal marriage rights for same-sex couples through civil code revision and attemp to ensure LGBTQ awareness in gender equity education, while other competing three from conservatives seeking to ban such moves.
On May 2017 Taiwan's top court have ruled to legalise same-sex marriage and its decision must be implemented within two years, paving the way for Taiwan to become the first country in Asia to legalise same-sex unions.
