Our team partners are of the utmost of importance to the team here at Jay Quirk Rallysport and recently we sent them all a report on our year, some photos and a BIG thankyou to them all. 2018 didnt go quite as planned for Jay Quirk Rallysport, but we certainly couldnt have done any of it without our team partners and the "bonnet brigade". Its all about teamwork!!!
Here Waggawagga.tv shares their team partners package.
Its an honour and a privilege to have you all on board with us. Thank you all for your support

It's been a while since I've been on here, so a bit of an update!
While the Evo is out of action I've been taking the opportunity to help out at events around the place.
I've been to the first two rounds of the NSW State Championship, Mitta Mountain Rally and the Caves Classic (Oberon), as part of the RallyNSW team, focussing mainly on results etc. It's been a real buzz to see the top teams in the state and how they set about tackling the events, and I've met some awesome people. It's also been a great learning experience, getting involved with the organisers of some of the top events rallying has to offer in Australia.
I've also been lending a hand as service crew to a mate of mine, Jody Mill, who won the AMSAG Live the Dream Competition and the rest of the Mill clan. We were very excited when Jody won the car, and it's been great to be part of the team. Hopefully we can keep every one going at the remaining events!
I'll try to keep everyone posted!
We will call the corner in the picture Tristans "APEX" hahaha
Where did it all start? Tommi, the next generation, highlights and what's next?🔜 RECCE with Jay Quirk.
Best of luck tonight to the Light Car Club of Canberra (LCCC) crew tonight in Sydney! Their event, the Kosciuszko Automotive Monaro Stages Rally is nominated for CAMS best State Event for 2018!

It was great to see the local farmers, who kindly let us use their roads, put on the stages waving, taking photos and videos etc. We missed a couple of stages with the rain but these guys definitely needed it!
Here's some video one of the property owners got of Cody and I on SS2 just after the wooden bridge on the way to the tarmac. Excellent stage with some blinding speeds! Not one for the faint of heart!
Can't wait to get back to the Kosciuszko Automotive Monaro Stages Rally this year 👍👍👍
Kitto and the lads are at it again! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Now that Phil has finally set a page up for the business I can give Pallister Automotive a well deserved plug!
Definitely the guy I trust the most with specialised jobs on the Evo, as well as our own cars, Phil's attention to detail and knowledge is second to none. From the rally rego, to sourcing hard to find parts, advice on car set up and improvements, his service (and patience) has been a massive help.
Can't recommend Pallister Automotive enough!

Wishing a massive HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY to Aaron Wishart from everyone at Jay Quirk Rallysport! It's been great to watch you grow from a quiet young lad into a slightly less quiet young man, dedicated to his art constantly out doing himself!
Thanks for capturing these moments for us and being a general all round good guy!
Ok Jay Quirk Rallysport team - lets get voting to support one of our team partners.
First time they have entered the Hottest 100 for craft beers. Follow the link below and vote - search the Tumut River Brewing Co beers in the drop down boxes and vote away -

For a small microbrewery we produce a fairly wide variety of craft beers but the one that seems to get the most love is our Ginja Ninja Ginger Beer. Brewed with locally sourced, fresh apple juice from Tumut’s The Apple Shed, it is often described as refreshing and “having a pretty good kick” (appropriate!) and we constantly receive positive feedback about it from guys and gals of all ages. You can make your feelings for the Ginja Ninja known by voting for it in the GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers of the Year. It is the first time we’ve entered so it would be great to see some love - thanks heaps 👍🍺
Vote here - https://www.gabsfestival.com/gabs-hottest-100-2018-craft-beers/
By the way - you can also vote for any of our other beers, we’ve listed them all!
Thanks to Greg at Browne Bear Photography for the mint photo!
Jay Quirk & Julia Clark made the trip down to run in the VCRS in the Evo.

Hi everyone!
Quick update before we head home from Sale. Unfortunately another disappointing result having to pull out at the midway point with more over heating dramas. It's a shame as Julia and I were working well together and we were enjoying the roads.
Thanks to Dad and Matt for looking after us and the CCRMIT for putting on an excellent event!
Back to the drawing board for 2019!
Team is up and running for the final event of the year with a time that sits Jay and Julia with 17th fastest time so far on stage 1. Stay tuned.
Off we go! Dad and I heading off to our last event for 2018 the CCRMIT George Derrick, Autumn Midnight And Presidents Rally! See you soon Gippsland!
Waggawagga.tv, nailed it as usual! Thanks heaps Adam!
JAY QUIRK RALLYSPORT
Jay Quirk’s entry into rallying was as a co-driver – his first event at 14 was co-driving for the Zero car at the 1997 Hella Classic Rally in Carabost Forest. The passion for rallying (and the life long love of Evos) began a couple of years beforehand when the opportunity arose to take a ride in the left hand seat with Australian Rally Champion driver Ed Ordynski at the 1995 Ray White Rally Media Day. Jay began competitive co-driving for Tumut driver Louie Doon – former owner of the Evo II Lancer and mentor to Jay throughout his rallying exploits. Jay joined the Tumut Auto Rally Team in 1998, competing with Louie in the teams' Datsun 1600 and at just 15 years of age, became the youngest co-drivers champion, taking out both the 1998 WDCC Rallysprint Series & 1998 Riverina Leader Series. Jay remained in the co-driver’s seat with Louie Doon until 2001, the pair taking out a series of 1st Outright and 1st in Class wins in regional events & series, including the Riverina North East Victoria Multi-Club Challenge.Tumut Auto Rally Team ceased competition in 2002, Jay taking a leave of absence from rallying to complete his studies and take a role in dairy management in Finley (sthn NSW). He relocated back to Wagga in 2006, maintaining his presence in rallying with the occasional stint as co-driver for Wagga drivers Jon Parker & Michael Meyer before purchasing his own car (a Datsun 1600) in 2013.Jay campaigned the Datsun in club events for two years, enjoying driving in club events. The search for an Evo Lancer began in 2015, eventuating in the re-acquisition of the Tumut Auto Rally Team Evo II in mid-2016.Early years as a co-driver have been a valuable asset in making the transition to the driver’s seat.
Angela McLachlan first climbed into the left hand seat of a Datsun 1600 in the late 1990's, winning co-driving championships in both the Clubman and State series with state/regional driver Gavin Lockeridge, before moving into a Galant with the same driver. Angela's co-driving also included short stints with Dean Lockeridge and Ross Carter. Following her relocation to Wagga in 2000, she was given the opportunity to take a couple of spins in the left hand seat of a Starion with Narrandera driver John Austin, before going into semi-retirement to have children. After a break of about 15 years and another relocation, this time to Tumut, Angela has jumped at the opportunity to dust off her helmet and navigate for Jay in the Evo II Lancer. After all, it's true what they say about the rallying bug... once it's in your system, you never fully recover!
