Great fun playing at Grove Park Ilkley, thanks to Cornell Daley and Martinez Wines for organising....went over really well, got lots of nice comments...one guy live streamed me to New York so his wife could hear it :) Great to see Jon Ingram too :)

Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th September
We are delighted to announce that Martinez is the sole alcohol vendor for this year's Car Free Festival to be held on the whole length of the Grove on Sunday 17th September, 11am to 4pm.

As most of you will be aware we are not the kind of business to shy away from an excuse to extend our wine offerings, therefore we have once again obtained the use of 'Grove Park' next door to Martinez and in addition we have added a day!

We will have live music in the shape of our famous 'Buskers' from 2-10pm on Saturday 16th September hosted by the fabulous 'Cornel Daley'. For those of you who have not attended our 'Buskers Nights' they involve a whole host of local talent performing for your entertainment. On Sunday 17th there will be live music from 12 noon with Cornel performing again at 4pm, Martinez at Grove Park will be open from 12-8pm

No Table bookings in the park, just turn up, grab a seat or bring your own...

The Event itself is run by Climate Action Ilkley who are not asking people to give up driving their cars but are asking them to think about their impact on the climate. Climate Action will be providing entertainment throughout the Sunday with stalls serving soft drinks and food. Martinez will not be the only live music offerings on Sunday, earlier in the day you can expect music on the band stand and at Canker Well.

In order to try and do our bit for the environment all Wines, beers and gins served will be organic....

Great time busking at Colne r&b fest, everyone loved it... I was playing under a gazebo, so when we had a brief rain shower, a group of girls came under for shelter and we had a wang dang doodle with them all dancing around me 🙂
