The Anasazi petroglyphs, created by the ancient Anasazi people (also known as Ancestral Puebloans), are intricate rock carvings found across the southwestern United States, primarily in areas like Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado.
Dating back over 1,000 years, these petroglyphs depict a variety of symbols, animals, and human figures, including mysterious and strange beings with humanoid forms, large eyes, and unusual head shapes.
These enigmatic figures have sparked various interpretations, from spiritual or mythological representations to depictions of shamanistic visions.
The petroglyphs, believed to serve ceremonial, communicative, and territorial purposes, offer a fascinating glimpse into the cultural and spiritual life of the Anasazi...

Meet the Venus of Laussel! This 25,000-year-old engraving from France is one of the oldest known depictions of the human form. Nicknamed the "Venus" for its focus on fertility, it offers a glimpse into the art and culture of our Paleolithic ancestors.

Now is the time!
βI believe that this planet hasn't seen its Golden Age.
Everybody says it's finished ... art's finished, rock and roll is dead, God is dead.
F**k that!
This is my chance in the world.
I didn't live back there in Mesopotamia, I wasn't there in the Garden of Eden, I wasn't there with Emperor Han, I'm right here right now and I want now to be the Golden Age.
β¦if only each generation would realize that the time for greatness is right now when they're alive ... the time to flower is now.β

Goddesses! I love how this one is crossing her legs.
The terracotta Goddess figurine from Pano Chorio c. 5500β4500 BC is the finest such artefact found on Crete. Her bird-like features resemble the many other figurines from the cultures of Old Europe Neolithic period.
The seated position affirms her grounding and connection to the earth, her sacred parts touching the earth and her generous proportions referring to the abundance of life-giving Earth.

The Wichahpi Commemorative Stone Wall (Tom Hendrix' Wall) in Visit Florence, AL.
Tom spent more than 30 years building a stone wall in memory of his great-great-grandmother, who was part of the American Indian removal to Oklahoma, "The Trail of Tears." The wall is the largest un-mortared stone wall in the U.S. and the largest memorial to a Native American woman.
