Third Annual International Mission to Mars Engineering Design Competition Approaching Conclusion

We are pleased to announce that the Third Annual International Mission to Mars Engineering Design Competition, organized by the Mars Society and supervised by Education Director Nicole Willett, is nearing its exciting conclusion.

This six-week virtual program challenges high school students worldwide to design an 18-month Mars surface mission. The competition includes lectures from leading scientists and engineers, featuring experts from NASA as well as Mars Society President Dr. Robert Zubrin.

This week, Nicole will be at the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles to lead a week-long Mission to Mars competition for a group of participating international students.

We are still seeking a few volunteer judges to help with the final review for these high school students. This is a great opportunity to add scientific research to your CV, and it’s also quick and fun. You'll be sent 1-3 proposals to review virtually. If interested, please contact Nicole at: [email protected].
