It's hard to say which precise element of this clip I enjoy the most. At the moment it's either the length of time before the batsman leaves the crease OR the way he plays exactly the same shot again, but the second time, just moves his back leg into the path of the ball.

After an evening of T20 over in Bordeaux, the Occassional Casuals arrived late back here at La Colombiere. After an exhausting game most took themselves off to bed but........not all. Getting up to do the pool early this morning what do I find ? Yep ,they are still at it, with the excuse that it has taken time to analyse their defeat the previous evening and of course to put the world to rights !!!!! RESPECT 😄😄😄😄

Strangely, pubs seem to feature quite heavily in OCCC business, often in a “being asked nicely to move all those bags/be quieter/never participate in the quiz again/never come back” sort of way.
The Carlton, which we went to occasionally after outdoor nets at Paddington Rec, went one further and got itself knocked down to avoid us returning. Happily, due to dogged locals, it has returned.
A little good news in these trying times!
