The dandelion plant is highly valued for its medicinal uses. Its bitter roots are effective in treating gastrointestinal and liver problems, whereas the leaves work as a powerful diuretic. Our beloved sister Ahaliyah Queen Vida Amuah has passed away. RIP 💚💚💚💜💜🇬🇭

Queen Vida Amuah was an immense source of inspiration to the local communities in Atlanta, across the country, and around the world. Personally, she was an inspiration to me and I had the honor of speaking to her on several occasions. She would always reach out to me and offer her blessings as I continued on my journey. I vividly remember when I was visiting Ghana and Queen Mother Vida Amuah contacted me to ensure my well-being while traveling to different African countries. Her loss is deeply felt and she will certainly be missed. Over the years, we have lost many beloved healers & lightworkers. However, it's important to cherish the knowledge we gained from them and pass it on to the next generation.

My deepest condolences to Ahaliyah Queen Mother Vida Amuah family, friends and all the lives she has inspired.

Hello, Beautiful People 😍

As a healer, nutritionist, and herbalist, self-care is a top priority for me. I ensure that I have all the necessary tools for my self-care regimen. However, for a week, I experienced unbearable pain in my wrist and hand. After receiving a diagnosis, I headed to my kitchen pharmacy and started drinking my Golden Tea to alleviate the pain and inflammation. Although it took a few days for the pain to subside, I am feeling much better now. I had to take a break from typing, virtual client sessions, electronics, strength training, and cooking. My grind is real, but my health is more important.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of rest. I realized that I needed to rest more to take care of my body. So, I have started taking adult naps to help me recharge. If you are also going through a tough time, please make sure you prioritize your health and rest well.

Lastly, if you are suffering from pain and inflammation, I highly recommend trying golden tea as a natural remedy. It has worked wonders for me, and it might help you too.

🟡Turmeric Benefits

Turmeric is a root that has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. It is often used a blood purifier and anti-inflammatory remedy. It is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to reduce inflammation and very popular in Indian cooking.

Golden Tea recipe 😋

⭐️1 cup almond or coconut milk or plant-based milk of choice
⭐️1/2 teaspoon turmeric
⭐️Dash of black pepper
⭐️1 or 1/2 teaspoon of oil like, coconut oil, avocado oil or olive oil.
(Fats help better absorption of Turmeric )
⭐️1 teaspoon monkfruit sweetener or sweetener of choice
I like to use Tea Masala spices or you can use a
of dash of ground cinnamon or cardamom (optional)

Directions

⭐️Place milk, spices, turmeric, oil, and black pepper in a small saucepan.
⭐️Cook, stirring frequently, until warm but not boiling.
⭐️Add sweetener for taste
Serve warm or hot

😊Eating oranges can also help reduce the risk of certain diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and stroke.
😊Additionally, oranges are a great source of antioxidants, which help fight off free radicals and reduce the signs of aging.
😊Finally, oranges are a great source of potassium, which helps to regulate blood pressure and maintain healthy muscles and nerves.

Recipe for smoothie

pinch of cinnamon 

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 fresh peeled oranges and sliced

3/4 cup vanilla almond milk or plant-based milk of choice 

1 tablespoon of monk fruit sweetener ( substitute 1 banana or healthy sweetener of choice.) 

1/2 cup of ice 

Directions.

 Add all ingredients into the blender at high speed. Blend until thick and smooth and creamy. 

Enjoy.

My lunch for today!
Veggie- Protein Salad Bowl

Ingredients
Mixed Green Salad
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1 Sliced cucumber
1red bell pepper
1 veggie burger

Dressing

You can use a salad dressing of your choice. I recommend that you avoid dressings loaded with sugars, palm oil, soybean, canola, sunfllower oil,
salt, MSG, high - fructose corn syrup, and Artificial colors.

Try this homemade Salad dressing.
Cilantro Lime Dressing

Ingredients
1/2 Avocado (sliced)
2 tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Ground Ginger
2 tbsps Lime Juice
1/4 cup Cilantro (finely chopped)
1/2 cup Canned Coconut Milk

Directions

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until completely smooth.
Season with additional salt or lime juice if needed. Transfer to an airtight jar or container and refrigerate until ready to use.

Directions

Wash all fruits and vegetables. Process all ingredients in a juicer, stir and serve.
