Two pictures. My "Cover". and my "Profile". One I'm in my twenties, the other in my fifties. The younger is in the sixties, when I sang in bands and lived in Sierra Madre Canyon California. Sierra Madre boasts the Van Halen brothers as residents in the same time period.
The older photo I am in Newmarket New Hampshire, working as a CAD/CAM consultant, and starting my journey as a Singer Songwriter. I hosted, at the Stone Church a 7-7-07 concert to raise awareness of the decline in our planet's health caused by the actions of those who revered profit above all else.
There were many stories yet to be written about that thirty year journey, as there are about the ensuing twenty years. I'll do my best to capture them in prose, poetry and song on my Patreon page, www.patreon.com/ernestwhaley
I mentioned I would be no longer an active presence on facebook in a previous post. I'll be leaving my pages up, and will have my Patreon page address pinned to the top of my feed for those that are interested. I won't be interacting here after the 30th.
The 30th is a "Blue Super Moon". I noticed a pattern in my journey, that major life changes have occured on full moons. Relationships, both personal, musical, and career, have happened with unerring consistency on them. It is only fitting that I move into this next phase, on a Super Blue Moon, in my birth month.

Referring back to my previous statement about "professionals", I discovered after the fact that the live stream had audio issues. It was fading in and out, with an underwater sound on the guitar.
Fortunately what was recorded on the streaming host's website was doing neither! I deleted the "live stream" from YouTube, and uploaded the recording. So if you listened to the live stream, give the link in this post a listen. 🎶😎🎶
I mentioned in another post that I would be leaving Facebook after this weekend, and I will be this week.
Watching the video I just streamed, I have finally accepted the fact that when things go wrong, I lose the focus needed "to perform". I don't follow a script, or fall back on dialog I've repeated hundred of times while onstage performing. So going forward, I'll be uploading videos I have done on my own schedule. This way I'm not pressured into a set time frame, and you the viewer, will get a more relaxed effort from me. These videos along with poetry, an online book annotated with audio of songs relative to the story line, and musings about life from my perspective, will be found at, www.patreon.com/ernestwhaley
Five dollars a month will get you access to everything. I will also be be creating things specific to individuals, that only they will have access to. This is NOT the standard Patreon format where if you pay more, you get access to more! It's a "one size fits all" with personal attention.
