As summer arrives (hopefully), here are 5 delicious recipes to get the most out of your Haskapa: ⁠

1. Layered Yogurt Banana Shake 🍌⁠
Haskapa Powder and yogurt blend over thick banana and Haskapa Powder milkshake.⁠
2. Vit C Smoothie 🍊⁠
Haskapa Juice, squeezed orange, turmeric and ginger topped with black pepper and chia seeds.⁠
3. Frozen Smoothie 🧊⁠
Haskapa Powder, frozen fruit smoothie pack, pumpkin seeds, ground cardamom, whey protein.⁠
4. Granola & Greek Yogurt 🍶⁠
Granola or oats topped with plain Greek yogurt and a top layer of Haskapa Powder blended yogurt.⁠
5. Chia Coconut 🥥⁠
Chia seeds, Haskapa Powder, plant milk and vanilla. Soaked overnight and topped with toasted coconut.⁠

It's World Bee Day!
On our 80-acre haskap berry farm in Nova Scotia, we are officially certified 'Bee-Friendly' by the Pollinator Partnership.
Bees are essential to haskap bushes, as we rely on them to pollinate the haskap flower.

As part of our commitment to BFF (Bee-Friendly Farming), we:

• Offer forage providing good nutrition for bees

• Provide bloom of different flowering plants throughout the growing season

• Offer clean water for bees

• Provide permanent habitat for nesting through features such as hedgerows, natural brush, buffer strips, or bare ground

Heart health: A 2019 study from King’s College London demonstrated that anthocyanins have a major role to play in how blood vessels in our bodies function, helping to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow.

Haskapa was created by husband and wife team Evie, a doctor, and Simon, a ‘green’ entrepreneur.

1. Boil the carrots for 10 mins
2. Blend together your boiled carrots, some yoghurt of your choice, a tablespoon of Haskapa, and some sesame oil using a stick blender
3. Enjoy!

Avo on toast is old news. Up your toast game with Haskapa!

💜 Peel and dice pears and add to a small pan with the cinnamon, maple and water.
💜 Simmer for approx 5 minutes on a medium heat until the pears have softened.
💜 Toast your bread.
💜 In a bowl, swirl berry powder into the yogurt and mix to combine.
💜 Spread peanut butter over the toast, top with the warm pear and dollops of the berry yoghurt.
