Three Sheets Coed Softball

It's been so long since anything's been posted on this page, so I thought I'd tell you what's going on.

As some of you know, in January of 2016 at the age of 48 I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. According to everything I've been told, I had a 15% chance of surviving this. I was hospitalized for a month and a half in Grand Rapids, being medically tested and recovering.

It has been a long and trying road on this journey. The progress is slower than I've ever experienced before in my myriad of surgeries, but I try to be better every day than I was 24 hours before, no matter how small the gains are.

I've returned to driving and more importantly to work, where I'm coming up on being back a year. Am I who I was before all this happened? The answer is no, but I am getting there. I guess I'm too stubborn to accept this as my life now.

This is something that I want no one to go through, so if you have any issues with high blood pressure, please get seen by your doctor and don't blow it off like I did, saying it will never happen to me. Because it could.

The temperature on Sunday is supposed to be a bit on the cool side (58° high) from what I've seen, so be forewarned and please dress accordingly.

Tournament Info: we play at 10am this Sunday at Patriot. As expected, we are in the lower division. The championship game is scheduled for 3pm that day. We need all hands on board Sunday to make a strong run at this.

The last two games of the regular season are at 10 & 11am at Patriot on October 18th. The tournament will be on the following Sunday. Details about that will be posted as they become available.

Games for October 11th are 11am & noon at Patriot.

Games on 10-4 @ Patriot are scheduled for noon & 1pm.

I just received confirmation that it is indeed three games on the 27th. See you all there.

We are scheduled for three games tomorrow, which is atypical and being investigated. More to come on this.

The games are cancelled today as the fields won't be in playing condition until mid to late afternoon. These games will roll to the end and we will continue on with the schedule as posted.

This just in (and hot off the press): we play at 10am this Sunday vs the beta version of Three Sheets at Patriot. That is all that has been told to me at this point, so idk if we're in A or B. If anymore information comes my way, I will post it stat.

Our two games this Sunday will be 10 & 11am at Patriot. Please, if you can't make it, please let Wes know ASAP (Aaron and Sarah F won't be there already). With this said, please try to be there. Kevin McGee was pressed into service last Sunday due to a shortage of male players, and we had only 4 women show up. It's better to lose than forfeit.

This just in: there will only be one game this Sunday at 11am, still at Patriot.

As of now, there are two games this Sunday. 10 & 11am at Patriot Park. This may change, however, so please check back to this page over the weekend.
