We are sorry to announce the Board Gamers Club event planned for March 20th is cancelled.

Our hope is to gather once again in April. Look for an email closer to that time!

We're sure you have more than enough information about the national emergency. So, from us: grab a couple friends and crack open that expansion you never got around to or that game you never thought you'd have time to learn. We each know firsthand how important that simple joy can be. Our leadership is praying for all of you through this time.

Dragonwood has a charm that is hard to shrug! Play groups of cards to get a chance at taking on a monster, rolling the number of cards you play as dice. Not satisfied with using weapons? Just shout your way through the game - it really works!

GAME HIGHLIGHT: Ethnos
Muster bands of allies to your service from a realm populated by elves, dwarves, trolls, orcs, and all manner of beasts. Use these allies to contend for a dominant position in the lands of Ethnos. Will the ages praise your victory...or scoff at your defeat?

This week is hitting hard, I'm sure. But don't let that get you down! Get into some mischief this Friday, at the CU Board Gamers Club event:

Board game highlight: DICE FORGE!
Have you ever wanted control over the odds, to have your own personal loaded dice? This game gives you - and your opponents - that power. It is up to you to utilize that power to build the baddest dice imaginable, and roll your way to a sweet victory. Are your creative skills equal to the challenge?

CU Board Gamers club will be hosting the second BYOBG Event of the semester on Friday, March 29th in Miller Library! In addition:

Ever wanted to risk life and limb to save the President? Ever wanted to risk life and limb to rid the world of him? Ever been caught in a terrorist attack while looking for true love? All of these things can apply to you in in this engaging game of deception, and mischief.

Two Rooms and a Boom will begin in the same place at 10pm that night.

Looking for a fresh new game? Check out The C**t Express! In this creative "wild west" experience, you and your friends compete for the valuable loot aboard the royal bank's C**t Express. Shoot first and ask questions later!

Surely you've always wanted to kick some inter-dimensional b***y with your friends? Now you can in this highly stylized deck builder, where each battle introduces a unique team and environment with unique challenges and advantages. You'll be playing this one more than once!

Time spent at CU is valuable for students. The original CU Board Gamer's leadership understood this and used their time to better the experiences of other students with one of the most beloved clubs on campus. As Bailey Linton, Logan Wesseldyk, and Joel Ross entrust this group to new leadership I hope you’ll join us in applauding them!

Elizabeth Okma returns to leadership, and professor Don Perini will remain as our faculty sponsor, for which we are incredibly grateful! In succession are Brandon Chase as President, Amber Guzman, Cameron Perini, Emily Fox, and myself.

As part of the new leadership, I, Andy Pimpo, assure you that the members of the new leadership will endeavor to maintain these events as ones you don't want to pass up.
