International Women's Day of Prayer

Sisters from Greenock, Barrhead and Glasgow enjoyed considering the grace of our Lord Jesus together today - though He was rich, for our sakes He became poor.

Praise the Lord for His amazing grace! Praying for sisters around the world to enjoy the international women's day of prayer today. May we all know the presence and power of the God of all grace as we pray. May God's grace fill us with awe and wonder and make us more gracious by the power of the Spirit of Grace. The Lord be with you all.

Not long to go now before we get to spend time together learning & praying about the awesome Grace of our God that is available to us 24/7! Once again, our thanks go to our Philippine sisters who have worked & studied so hard to provide us with our topic for this years prayer day, & monthly prayer points for 2024. As always, feel free to post photos of your prayer group & share experiences, as an encouragement to all.
Hopefully, this 'Flipping' booklet will be helpful for some. Folks should be able to download it on to their devices or print it.

FACTS: Christians pressurised to turn
their backs on their faith. Abduction,
sexual assault, & murder are a real risk.
PRAY that: Libyans who have become
Christians will be filled with God's peace.
The civil war will end and stability
will come to the nation.

Good morning, to all the women in our IWDP community, at the start of another week, before focusing on another country where Christians are persecuted, God reminds us that our prayers reach Him, and are precious and powerful: Revelation 8:3-4 NIV
[3] Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God's people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. [4] The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand.
This week, our prayers, with those of God’s people in Libya, rise up to Him.
