There are signs of everywhere! Just look at those pregnant goat mamas - new babies are only a couple of weeks away!
It's a terrible, sad thing when you're trapped on the other side of the gate... ππ€ͺ
Is anyone else experiencing a crazy absence of rain and snow? I'm starting to worry about the coming grazing season. Swipe to see what the farm looked like last year!
We've been quiet on the socials for the past couple of months. This is what we've been up to!
*filling the soap racks
*new product development
*testing new scent blends in soap
*making little goats

How have you kept busy this winter?
We're getting closer to kidding season every day! The does have finally started to *look* pregnant. Goat farmers have a saying: Lunch is left (where their rumen is), right is babies. While vaccinating everyone today, I was able to "bump" babies in 7 out of 9 does! I'm sure the other two are expecting as well. We're going to be busy the first couple of weeks in April! π
We're set up today at the Northwoods Harness Club Sleigh Rally in Iron River. Stop by if you fancy a drive on this gorgeous day!
Does anyone else have a January Tree? We redecorate our Christmas tree with everything sparkly to help increase the light through the dark month of January. It all gets put away eventually!
The Mr. and I were having a conversation about needing new Carharts.
Me: Yeah, I'm closing on 30 years for this one. It's getting worn out.
Mr.: Well, mine has been on fire a couple of times.
Me: ...

Happy New Year! We are celebrating with our garden produce and farm rewards with a fancy charcuterie board. We hope you have a safe and prosperous new year!
Today is the last day of this milking season. It always feels strange to put everything away until we welcome new babies. It's important to let the does rest for a couple of months before the next kidding season.
Much thanks to Lilly for all the milk I use to make soap and lotion!
After days of rain, we finally have a change. Hector and Becky, the barn cat boys, are escorting me to breakfast. They meet me at the back door every morning! πββ¬
