Thinking about the past

I was so rigid with nutrition and exercise program thinking there is only one way for fitness.

Now I understand its more about consistency, Adherence, sleep, being stressfree affects directly on your results

He approached me during lockdown that he has gained a lot of fat and want to reduce it.

Since there was no gym access back then, he got few plates, a pair of db rods and a Bb.

So this entire change we achieved through proper nutrition planning, exercise program and cardio in road.

NONE

You read it right. You can't reduce fat on a particular area by targeting exercise that work on that area.

Why?

Fat is distributed all over the body and not in one specific area. Whatever exercise you do works either to strengthen that area and for growing muscles.

Fat is an energy source and the only way you will lose fat is to expend that energy either by reducing food or adding exercise or doing both overall (creating calorie deficit)

Next time don't waste your time doing 30 min ab workout thinking u will lose belly fat doing crunches or its variation. Those exercises are meant to strengthen your Abdominal muscles and not to lose fat
