Our communities in most parts of south Africa especially townships and rural areas have been worried about the safety of their homes, businesses as well as cars, however they have been worried about the outside part of it, for an example: alarms, electric fences, car immobilizers, security gates and more ,but only a few number has taken an initiative to make sure the internal security is in place namely: first aid kits and firefighting equipment some do have them but they are not visibly placed, no signage and trained personnel that will save the house should anyone gets hurt or fires start.
In townships we have witnessed very disturbing fires people burning inside houses and shacks as a result of lack of knowledge and equipment to deal with this life threatening incidents. We also have witnessed people dying in our homes and streets because of the lack of knowledge of first aid and equipment this is all happening because these things are not available in townships there is not even one shop that I have witnessed selling the first aid and fire equipment and also does training to people in the townships.
“learnlive” project is the solution to all this incurrences mentioned above ,we are committing that we are going make an easy access to the first aid and fire equipment to people and also educate them on how to use them .
