What was that moment?
I remember working for an employer and I was selected to travel to Virginia to facilitate a training with another colleague.
A week before we were suppose to travel to VA, I over heard a conversation that stated that the plans were changed and that they were going to fly in another employee from the west coast to help with the training.
I was never told the reason why the plans were changed. I knew the skill set that I possessed and it would cost the company less money for me to travel to VA since I was already on the East Coast.
I never questioned them, but wondered why the change.
And to reflect on yesterday I was able to facilitate a course at Fayetteville Technical Community College that I created and designed.
My message to women in Corporate America, there are times that you may be overlooked and treated indifferently, but don't allow those things to cause you to question your value or greatness.
Continue to persevere and maintain a resilent mindset. Don't even worry about failure, you can learn from it and grow.
You are more than your title! Elevate Your Impact.
And always remind yourself that You got T.H.I.S. Tough, Hard, Impossible, Situations.
