Inspired by gothic literature, classic horror film icons, and cosplay culture, Doomsday & Night: The Hills Have Eyes is a visual and performance art exhibition exploring the timeless allure of the uncanny, the darker side of pop culture, and celebrates the macabre.

Leading up to the 2024 Charlotte International Arts Festival (CIAF), a Blumenthal Arts Original, we’ll be shining the spotlight on our festival Cultural Partners!
Next up, the Queen City Zine Fest, taking over our Knight Theater lobby September 28th from 11am – 5pm!
Queen City Zine Fest is a marketplace of self-published zines, comics, illustrations, chapbooks, small press editions, and other self-published printed matter. We desire to foster a community of independent publishers and those that are passionate about publishing. Our goal is to showcase DIY work and provide a platform for education and the exchange of ideas.
This event is FREE, family friendly and open to the public to attend!

Come and help us on Sept 28! We need help with loading in artists, keeping traffic flowing in the space and generally helping out artists with whatever they need.

This spring, Queen City Zine Fest partnered with Charlotte Journalism Collaborative to produce a series of zines. These zines were all based on stories from local reporters.
Pictured are 4 zines from artists who will be at our next zinefest on Sept 28.

We’ll be in the Knight Theater lobby as part of Charlotte International Art Fair, a Blumenthal event, on Saturday Sept 28, from 11-5.
Applications open for vendors who work in zines, comics, illustration, books, and other self published printed material.
Applications close on June 22 at 10pm.
QCZF 6 will be held on Sept 28 in the Knight Theater Lobby, in Charlotte NC.

We are thrilled to announce we are an official Cultural Partner for this year’s Charlotte International Arts Festival (**tag) (CIAF). a Blumenthal Arts (**tag) Original, returning to Uptown and Ballantyne’s Backyard September 13th – 29th!
Friday night (aka Zinefest Eve) come down to the Gettys Center in Rock Hill to see photos and pick up a copy of her new photo book!
Second floor, in the Courtroom, from 6-9pm on May 3
And then Saturday come see her and all of our other artists just down the street at zinefest!

This Saturday and are hosting a pop-up market at . Some of our previous vendors will be at this event, so be sure to come out and support them!
The market will be open from 1-6pm, and there will be music afterwards from 7-11:30pm

When you come to zinefest on Saturday (tomorrow!!) make sure to go downstairs to the sculpture studio. will be set up there, pulling large scale woodblock prints. They’ll be making prints on Saturday and Sunday.
TOMORROW‼️‼️‼️‼️ These are the last two artists for the Spotlights. Both locals, Dustin is new to us and Friday Arts has been with us for a ton of events! We're so excited to see everyone together at the McColl Center from 11am-5pm
