Frank discussion and fascinating with at Casa Apocalyptica. I’ve never seen a Madrone fruiting so close up before 🥹. Crenulation and leaves excite me on a water-harvesting level. Blue dicks ….because Blue Dicks ( that name 😂). The biggest Koi in the world. So many beehives. And of course a cocky Allen’s Hummingbird letting us know who’s the prettiest boy on the block. Thinking about “likes” and dopamine lately. Oh how much I enjoy the feeling greatly. The excited rush of an increasing audience, seemingly soothes the soul of this embodiment. And when the hits are less and less some days, the feelings plummet and I float in a haze. Then suddenly a katydid crawls up my leg and subtly directs my gaze to….my nest egg. The beautiful, ever-changing garden space, within which the most important “likes” are repeated with divine grace. The dopamine crash then transforms, into the reminder that who benefits from us most are also the ones that within which we are engrossed.
