The HART Dodge Neon gets some loving in prep for the VDCA Veterans Day Road Atlanta event.
Passenger side doors replaced, lexan replaced in rear doors, fluids changed, and a general once over.
For the last almost 40 years, I have spent Labor Day at a racetrack. 2024 was different but not by choice.
I had a health emergency that left me unable to be at the Lime Rock Historics even tho I was 5 miles away. Then emergency has been fixed and I am on the mend.
The real story is how much us racers do not realize the level of support we get from racetrack family. I am amazed the support Tracy Thacker Hyatt was given during my absent.
There are so many people to thank along with VRG and Lime Rock staff.

Great heat race, had a great race with 5 other racer, all different classes but lap after lap fighting for the lead.
The HART Dodge Neon preformed well but has my capabilities then the driver is using.
Best time lowered by a second.
Feature race at about 9am tomorrow
MARRS Qual in the books best time by .3 seconds. P2 in class

Well that didn’t go as planned!
Had oil from a blown motor and caused a safety car for 2 laps then the rear wanted to be the front in the slippery oil so we spun.
Then a lap later I got dive bombed and hit cause minor body damage but cracked a wheel.
Waiting the officials decision if we race tomorrow 🙏
