If you struggle to get to the gym as often during the school holidays, here are some NEAT exercises you can easily incorporate into your daily routine:
1. Household Chores: Wash the windows, clean the bathroom, hoover the house.
2. Gardening: Cut the grass, plant some flowers, water the garden.
3. Food shopping: Park further away from the shop and, if possible, ditch the trolley and carry your bags.
4. Playing with the kids: Join in on their games, go for bike rides, or walk the dog.
If you can't make it to the gym, it's important to stay active💪So remember, when you're cleaning up at home, it doubles as a workout!

Casey has been a part of Team Unit since she was 16 and in college. Since then, she's not only smashed university but also successfully started her own personal training business, working with sports-specific clients. What an inspiration!
Over the years, her dedication, hard work, and passion have truly paid off. And they will continue to! She's doing her master's in Strength and Conditioning next year💪

Meet Amy, whose fitness journey we can't wait to share💪
Life before The Unit...
Rewind to 2020; the pandemic took its toll on her, like it did for so many of us. Amy found herself 17.5kg heavier and feeling super lethargic, which, being a mum of three, she did not need!
Then, enter her cousin, who wouldn't stop raving about The Unit and how amazing we are😉😄Amy decided to reach out to us and join our KickStart programme.
Life after The Unit...
Fast forward to now, and Amy's fitness journey is such an inspiration!
✅ 17.5kg lighter: Amy's lost those extra kilos, feeling much more confident.

They've done it💪🙌What a weekend!
After achieving their SFG level 1 certification in October, coaches Casey and Louie have now both passed the SFG level 2 skills test🤩
They now have 6 months to complete their strength test, which involves a kettlebell overhead press - 22kg for Casey (which she nearly got!) and a huge 40kg for Louie!
At just 23 and 17 years old, this is such a massive achievement that not many people can say they've done💪
Congratulations to you both; we're all so proud of you!👏

Just 4 days left until the SFG II Kettlebell Instructor Certification is here, at The Unit.
32 candidates, including Coaches Casey and Louie, are coming to Teesside, along with StrongFirst Certified Master Instructors from all over the UK and the world💪
The SFG II Certification is not for everyone. It's a difficult instructor qualification that must be earned, not only at the two-day event but also in the investment that candidates must make in themselves to show up for the certification strong enough to pass.
It's a huge achievement, and we wish everyone the best of luck this weekend!

Do you feel intimidated by the gym? If you've not exercised for a while (or even ever), the gym can be quite daunting, which is why we started our KickStart program in the first place.
But this time, it's slightly different (some may say slightly better👀).
For 60 days, you'll have unlimited access to any of our small group training classes.
After a client fitness assessment and induction, our coaches will create a bespoke program to help you achieve a healthier, fitter you.
