HR Assistant

We are hiring a HR Assistant for a company specialising in the environmental sector based in Portishead with some travel across the UK.

My client believe People are the companies most important asset. They are seeking a motivated HR Assistant, who shares the same passion around the importance of people, to work with our People & Culture Director in providing support to the HR function.
This role requires handling confidential and sensitive information, discretion is a must. In due course, as the Group continues to grow, career progression into an HR Managerial role would be encouraged.

HR Assistants key Responsibilities/ Requirements:

• Assist in recruitment of new employees – including posting ads, liaison with agents, undertaking inductions where required
• Maintain employee records on company HR system (Cezanne), including absences
• Answer (with assistance from People & Culture Director where required) employee queries
• Prepare employment documents (contracts etc.)
• Provide information to Finance department as required (re new starters/ absence etc.)
• Review and update company HR related policies
• Provide employment law updates to People & Culture Director
