My how quickly time flies by. It is with some sadness and excitement we say goodbye to you, our rink family as we won’t see you this winter. Last night was officially the last time for Earl to close up the Kinsmen Concession. He mopped up the floor and closed the door for his very last time. We are truly grateful for the rink family we gained over the past six years. We are also so very thankful to those who worked along side him. It’s been fun and memorable! We wish everyone great times ahead, great hockey and remember it is you who makes a little rink concession survive. Keep supporting the new contractors and ad a little sprinkle of happiness to their day and lives as you did to ours. THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD TIMES, AND THE MEMORIES. It’s been fun!

Columbus Blue Jackets' first round draft pick, Adam Fantilli, had his suit custom-made for the NHL Draft, with all the names of the family, coaches, teachers, advisors, and others who have impacted his life and helped pave his path to the NHL.
Over 140 names listed on the back of his vest and lining his jacket.

GEARING UP‼️
Yorkton Minor Hockey is one of 4 Saskatchewan communities who offered the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program. It is designed to ensure a positive experience for new-to-hockey families.
We hosted our Welcome Event this past Friday. All the registrants were fitted and geared up so they are ready to hit the ice! We are excited to be involved in this program and look forward to our on-ice sessions!

As you prepare to hang your skates up from the Kinsmen Arena, we wanted to let you know the concession closes for the season this afternoon. After such a tough time this past two years, I think we’re finally getting back to what makes everyone happier. Exercise through team sport for our kids, watching our kids play hockey and a that hot cup of coffee or a rink burger to fill you up. On behalf of our whole team this year, THANK YOU for venturing into the rink and stopping by to support the concession. We truly appreciate your support. Over the next week, they’ll be washing it all up, closing everything up for the season and GOD willing, we’ll see you in the fall! Until then, have a wonderful summer and stay safe!

Hard to believe it’s been since March 2020 the concession has been closed. Get ready to have your rink bacon cheese burger, chicken finger, fries, deep fried pickles, slush, coffee or hot chocolate this Saturday because Earl’s gone through and cleaned the shack so the place is spotless. Looking forward seeing everyone! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
